My name is Greg Giddens and I’m a UK based indie games developer.
My second commercial game, The Pier Arcade, is coming soon to PC via Steam. You can Wishlist it here.
My first commercial game, Click and Collect, is available now on PC and Android. It’s a casual, hectic, reaction, management game about serving customers in a store.
Previous to my transition to games developer, I was a games journalist. I worked for This is Xbox/Thumbstix (http://www.thisisxbox.com/) (https://www.thumbstix.co.uk/) as a Reviews Editor and with Push Square (www.pushsquare.com) and print magazine MyM (http://www.mymags.net) as a staff writer (reviewer).
I’ve previously worked as Editor In Chief at Midlife Gamer, Staff Writer at BeefJack, as a freelance writer for Play.tm, as well as having the odd piece go up over at Nintendo Life (http://www.nintendolife.com/), Starburst Magazine (www.starburstmagazine.com), VideogameUK, pure Xbox and Pocket Gamer (http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/).
I’ve worked in games journalism from 2009 to 2019. Now I’m on the lookout for game development opportunities while I develop my own stuff and work a day job as a software developer.
